On the morning of May 10, Huddersfield College held the academic management meeting in the Engineering Building. Seven teaching and research staffs and administrators representing University of Huddersfield in the UK, including Professor Nigel Schofield, leaders of Huddersfield College and heads of relevant disciplines attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed in depth the curriculum construction and discipline development, and planned and detailed the future work priorities of Huddersfield College. Both sides said that they will continue to deepen the construction of undergraduate majors, carry out international professional accreditation of courses, and develop research talents at the master’s and doctoral levels through the joint tutoring system. At the same time, they have decided to conduct regular exchanges among teaching and research staffs to strengthen cooperation in scientific research.
Huddersfield College currently offers three majors: Communication Engineering, Electronic Information and Computer Engineering. After two years of exploration and cooperation, Huddersfield College has made remarkable achievements in student training, discipline construction, integration of teaching concepts and so on. Huddersfield College has been consolidating collaborative education with talent training as the center and research as the orientation.
